For each of us, a place exists (hopefully!) inside the home where the rest of the world melts away. Not surprisingly, it seems no different for some of our area’s most influential figures. When asked to reveal their favorite space in their homes, these V.I.P.’s didn’t pick their grand home theaters, their tricked-out garages or their serene sanctuaries, like their bedrooms or bathrooms (however gorgeous they may be). They all picked what they oft-times called “the heart of the home”—the living room, kitchen and dining room areas. Here they are, in their own spaces, and in their own words.
