There's nothing better than your furry friend on a bummer of a day. Fluffy can perk you up, no matter what. Tempe author Robin Reynolds loved her dog Max so much she wrote a book, titled Life to the Max, about the many lessons she's learned from her pup. Families can gather round at the Scottsdale Waterfront Border's November 8 at 1 p.m. for a reading, small speech, and booksigning. Bonus: help the Valley's dogs at the event and learn more through the involved charity, Airedale Rescue.
