Foreclosures are clearly no fun for humans, as the past few months have shown. But does anybody think about the pets abandoned along with the homes? Yes actually, Lost Our Home Pet Foundation does! A group of dedicated and wonderful Real Estate Agents have started the organization to rescue, heal, foster and adopt out the huge amounts of homeless pets the Valley is now seeing. To get involved, attend the "Pasta, Poker and Pets" Party at the DC Ranch Community Center (Homestead) October 24 at 7 p.m. for beer, wine, "Mutt-inis", Rigatonis pasta, poker and a silent auction.
